Ice Climbing Half-Day

December-April

This Half-Day, 4 hour introduction, is designed for the novice ice climbers with little or no prior climbing experience. We focus mainly on building a solid skill set that will become the foundation for safe ice climbing practices. Climbers will learn climbing movement, technique and efficiency, as well as belaying on ice, rappelling, equipment and systems. We’ll showcase considerations while on ice and how they differ from rock techniques. Join us in Colorado Springs for a great day of mid-season ice climbing.
